Square cross flow cooling tower

    Model and classification

    There are two types of cross flow fiberglass cooling towers: BHZ series and HBL series. BHZ series has low-noise and ultra-low noise towers, with single tower cooling water volumes of 80, 100, 125, 150, 175, and 200mm3/h, respectively. Its characteristics are low airflow velocity, low noise, low energy consumption, and it is suitable for use in locations with strict noise requirements. When assembling, the water volume can reach 1200m3/h (6 x 200m3/h). If the parameter table exceeds 200m3/h, several units are assembled, and the number of units is marked in the fan and motor columns. In addition to low-noise and ultra-low noise models, the HBL series also includes industrial models with medium to high water temperature drop. The cooling water volume of a single tower is 300, 500, and 700 m3/h respectively, and can also be used in parallel. Its characteristics are high airflow velocity, slightly higher noise than assembled towers, but lower than counter current towers, and small footprint.

    Structural characteristics

    This series adopts air intake on both sides, and the top fan exchanges air with hot water through the packing on both sides of the tower. The humid and hot air is then discharged outside the tower. The packing uses point wave plates with convex points on both sides, which are bonded together by installation to improve rigidity. Due to the convex points on both sides, the opportunity for water droplets to directly drip is avoided, and the formation of a water film is improved. The tail of the packing is equipped with water collection measures.
    The fan adopts low-speed, low dynamic pressure wing shaped fiberglass fan blades, and uses polyester fiber reinforced support belts. It has low noise, high transmission efficiency, and does not slip when encountering water. Due to the air intake on both sides, it is advisable to stack the filling material from the bottom of the water tank to the distribution tank. Therefore, there is no dripping sound like a counter current tower, which is very beneficial for reducing the noise of the cooling tower. Considering the convenience of assembly, the base of the cooling tower is placed on a reinforced concrete strip.
